Faculty Learning and Teaching Award

Mr David Shield has been announced as a winner of a 2018 Faculty Learning and Teaching Award. The awards recognise both academic and professional services staff for notable contributions made to learning and teaching. Dave is receiving this award in recognition of an exercise he undertook this year to deliver electronic assessment and feedback to MSc students, enabling high quality feedback to be delivered with a fast turnaround time, which students showed strong appreciation for in the end of module questionnaire.  

All the winners of the Faculty L&T awards will give a presentation of their work at the showcase event being held on Wednesday 25th April at 2pm in Flex, Central Teaching Hub.
