Best Paper at AAMAS 2013

Following in the departmental tradition of outstanding work in the areas of Autonomous Agents and Multi Agent Systems, Dr Piotr Krysta, head of the Economics and Computation group was awarded the Best Paper prize at AAMAS 2013. This was for his paper "Mechanisms for Multi-Unit Combinatorial Auctions with a Few Distinct Goods", authored with Orestis Telelis (Athens) and Carmine Ventre (Teesside), both of whom were formerly at Liverpool.
