Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group

This is the home page of the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group, part of the Artificial Intelligence section in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool.

Robotics and autonomous systems is an interdisciplinary area of research spanning several areas in Artificial Intelligence.
Members of the robotics and autonomous systems group carry out research in multi-agent systems, decision making under uncertainty, ontologies, swarm intelligence and bio-inspired systems, robot teams, verification and validation of robotic and autonomous systems, ethics of autonomous systems and industrial applications.

Within the group, we use a number of facilities:

The group is led by Dr Terry Payne
